2009/11/09    Air Power Tools

Air power tools use an air compressor instead of electricity to perform tasks. They are generally a lot more powerful than their electric counterparts and are used for many big construction projects. All air power tools require a specific PSI (pressure per square inch) to work. To change the PSI for your tools follow these instructions:

  • Step 1: Look on the tool or tool's case to find out what the required PSI is. If you cannot find it check the instruction manual or call the manufacturer.
  • Step 2: Adjust your compressor to the exact PSI required. There should be a small dial right on the air compressor for this.
  • Step 3: Attach the air compressor hose to your air power tools.

Special Cautions for Air Power Tools

Although they are very convenient, powerful, and immediately ready for use, air power tools pose a certain threat if you are not careful. All tools will usually require a different PSI level, and forgetting to change it while switching tools can be disastrous. Not enough pressure will cause the tool to operate slowly, or not at all. Having too much pressure can destroy air power tools.

And that's why China Pneumatic and ZIPP Tool has been working closely on developing new digital display air tool module that not only records and alarms on over pressure and also shows tool's dynamic performance spec and record it for warrenty purpose for solving unnecessary dispute between the service provider and user.
